I needed a sample licensed character illustration to get work from The Artifact Group and other firms that do work with licensed characters. Just for fun, I decided to feature a couple of my favorite characters, Disney’s Stitch and WB’s Duck Dodgers. I started with some character studies, then I did some sketches, scanned them in, and created the final characters in Illustrator. I painted the background in photoshop.
