Description

A textural study in shades of green and brown, “Roots” draws inspiration from the fantasy books of my youth. While hiking in the woods of Hocking Hills State Park in southern Ohio I found myself reminded of deep, lush Elven Forests and began to get lost in my own fantasy world. Sometimes I like to get a different perspective on things, so I laid down on the trail and found this striking, primordial scene that felt like roots hundreds of feet high.
