I have always loved space, especially nebulae and all things Sci-Fi. One day, the idea of a Frog with a nebula behind it came to my mind, and I knew I had to paint it. This piece took on a life of its own as I worked on the value study/underpainting and guided my hand through the underpainting process. While working on the nebula clouds they started to remind me of tadpoles, so I leaned into the amphibian life cycle motiff.
