Patches of Light wanted a picture of Patch their mascot as a doctor caring for an infant. The company raises money for critically and terminally ill children and their families. This was to go on their web page and print material that would go out to those families. Because the families are going through such a rough time I wanted to present the illustration in a way that would feel warm and inviting. I also used the warm color pallet in the background to add some contrast and push the attention to Dr. Patch who is wearing blue scrubs.
