This illustration is a tribute to Dr. Seuss. My inspiration for the piece was Norman Rockwell’s Triple Self Portrait. I incorporated elements from several of Dr. Seuss’ books. I even gave another wink to Norman Rockwell in the corner of the canvas Dr. Seuss has a sketch of Rockwell with his pipe in the corner, this was sketched in reference to the original painting.
